THE ORIGIN

Since 1969, African Queen has stood as a legendary culinary destination on the picturesque port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Emblematic and timeless, it has attracted gourmets from the region and adventurous food lovers from around the world. Known for its warm ambiance and exceptional Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, African Queen continues to delight diners while offering a true taste of the French Riviera’s charm.

THE ARCHITECTURE

Under the leadership of architects from the Monegasque firm Humbert & Poyet, major works have been undertaken over several months to modernize the premises and bring in a new vision, while preserving the spirit and history of this now cultic restaurant. In terms of design and decoration, ethnic touches will be used in the textiles, the woven rattan chairs, the burnt wood, the leather, the emerald green tiles and the lighting.

THE FOOD

A friendly place, welcoming staff, passion and rigor, share the small portions, mix and match, and discover a variety of new flavors. Our selection is based on the most popular and simple sea foods and fish from around the world with the most exclusive fresh products from the Riviera.
Even the desserts express a unique creativity which Riccardo believes can be branched out on a global scale.
